Caligari have announced the sacking of coach Eusebio Di Francesco following an incredible 16-game winless run.

The Sardinians haven’t won since beating Sampdoria in early November and have lost 11 times since then, including a six-game losing streak.

Shockingly, the former Roma man was given a new long-term deal until the summer of 2023 in the midst of that horror run as a show of support and faith.

However, the club’s patience has now finally ran out and Di Francesco has been sacked, along with all of his coaching staff, with immediate effect.

The Rossoblu’s 1-0 defeat at home to Torino on Friday night leaves them sitting five points from safety.
