BVB to face Hannover in DFB-Pokal | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund will be up against Hannover 96 in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. This was the result of the draw that took place on the "Sportstudio-Reportage" programme on ZDF on Sunday evening. The match will be played in Hanover on 18 or 19 October.

BVB beat TSV 1860 Munich 3-0 away from home in the first round at the end of July, while Hannover also claimed a 3-0 victory away to TSV Schott Mainz.

This will be the sixth DFB-Pokal meeting between the teams: Hannover 96 came out on top in the first four cup clashes, but Borussia claimed the victory the last time the two clubs went head-to-head in this competition. In December 2012, BVB were away to the Lower Saxony side in the round of 16 and won 5-1 (3-0) thanks to goals from Götze (3), Blaszczykowski and Lewandowski.

Paralympic swimmer Josia Topf drew the names for the second round of this season's competition on Sunday.
