Borussia Dortmund have signed 16-year-old Belgian winger Julien Duranville in a deal reportedly worth up to €11m.
According to reports this week, Dortmund will pay an initial €8m for the teenager with a further €3m in add-ons possible.
Just 16, Duranvillle has made six league appearances for Anderlecht this season, scoring once and starting once.
The winger has also played at wingback and is to join Dortmund’s first team squad immediately.
“We’re happy that Julien and his family have put great trust in us and that he is here to wear our colours,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
“Julien is a quick, technically strong, creative wide player who we see huge potential in.
“Over the coming years we want to work together on reaching this potential and driving his development, as we have done so often with young talents in the past. Our main focus is to have Julien with the first team as quickly as possible so he can integrate into his new surroundings and, step by step, introduce him to the level of the Bundesliga.”
Duranville has signed a long-term deal.
