BVB chief Watzke: Real Madrid tempt Haaland - but it's all bull****! | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke admits Real Madrid want to sign Erling Haaland.

However, Watzke insists the Norway international's departure this summer is no guarantee.

Watzke said "He is an independent personality. Anyway, at some point he will play for one of the best clubs in the world, although he is already playing for one of the best clubs in the world. But I know, of course, that Real Madrid seduces him."

Watzke, however, was very clear when asked about the Norwegian's departure rumors.

"That's bull****," he declared emphatically, then left the door open for his possible departure in the summer, "Some experts say, 'They're on the stock market, they're going to have to sell Haaland in the summer'.

"The decision to sell to someone in our club is made by the board only. It has not yet been decided if he will actually leave next summer. We will see."
