Rangers entertained Real Betis at the Ibrox Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a positive result at home in the UEFA Europa League. The Glaswegian giants made a solid start to the game and managed to go into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
The Scottish outfit finally broke the deadlock in the 67th minute thanks to Abdallah Sima’s effort as the contest finished with Rangers securing a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Rangers player performed during the match against Real Betis.
GK: Jack Butland – 8/10
Butland made a few important saves at the back and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet tonight.
RB: James Tavernier – 6.5/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch but offered very little going forward.
CB: Conor Goldson – 7.5/10
Goldson cleared the danger when needed and performed well enough to earn a clean sheet at the Ibrox.
CB: Ben Davies – 7/10
The former Liverpool talent came things tidy when defending inside his half and won his fair share of aerial duels.
