MIAMI – Olivia Busby, Citlalli Reyes, and Ashlyn Anderson headline the Final Round Best XI of the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers.

In the end, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States secured Concacaf’s four coveted spots at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025.

There were many top individual performances, yet these 11 players stood out the most in their respective positions.

Here is a look at the 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers Final Round Best XI.

Goalkeeper

Olivia Busby, Canada – Busby starred in goal for Canada en route to securing qualification to the World Cup for an eighth time, keeping two clean sheets in three appearances and recording a total five saves as The Reds finished first in Group B.

Defenders

Adrianna González, Mexico – The defender was key at the back as Mexico commanded Group A. González was a presence both defensively and in attack, contributing a goal and three assists and helping the team collect three clean sheets.

Pearl Cecil, USA – Cecil led a back line that recorded three clean sheets in the Final Round as the United States secured a spot in the World Cup for a seventh time, while also pitching in offensively with a goal and an assist.

Berenice Ibarra, Mexico – Ibarra was another strong performer in Mexico’s defense, being a rock at the back with two interceptions and two blocked shots. Ibarra helped her nation qualify for an eighth World Cup without conceding goals in three games in the decisive stage of the Qualifiers.

Midfielders

Lucía Paniagua, Costa Rica Paniagua starred in the center of the park for Costa Rica as Las Ticas advanced to the World Cup for a third time. The midfielder scored four goals, including a first-half hat-trick in Costa Rica’s 8-nil win against Haiti, and dished out three assists.

Citlalli Reyes, Mexico – With five goals, including braces in the victories against Costa Rica and Haiti, Reyes impressed and finished as the top scorer in the Final Round, while also tallying two assists.

Maya Buerger, El Salvador – Buerger tallied two goals and two assists and was one of the leading players for El Salvador as La Selecta came in second in Group C.

Giselle Falcón, Puerto Rico – The midfielder was outstanding for Puerto Rico, contributing a total four goals and five assists. Falcón finished as top assist provider in the Final Round, was the only player to deliver a hat-trick of assists in a single match and scored the fastest goal in the tournament just 31 seconds into Puerto Rico’s win against Panama.

Forwards

Nubia Medina, Costa Rica The youngest goal scorer in the Final Round at just 14 years, 7 months and 24 days, Medina helped Costa Rica qualify for the World Cup being a force in attack with a total four goals and an assist.

Ashlyn Anderson, USA - Anderson led the line and contributed four goals and three assists as USA topped Group C with a perfect record of three wins.

Micayla Johnson, USA – Another top contributor in attack for USA, Johnson tallied four goals and two assists in the Final Round.
