Burnley’s Mike Trésor nearing OGC Nice move

Article image:Burnley’s Mike Trésor nearing OGC Nice move

OGC Nice are having a busy end to the transfer window. In recent days, they have concluded deals for Youssoufa Moukoko, who joins on a season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund, and Mohamed Abdelmonem, who has arrived on a permanent transfer from Al-Ahly.

However, there could yet be further incomings with Franck Haise publically stating a desire for further reinforcements. There is perhaps a need too. Terem Moffi will miss the majority of the campaign after suffering an ACL injury in pre-season, whilst Gaëtan Laborde will miss several months with a fractured metatarsal.

With Jérémie Boga only just returning to fitness, and with Sofiane Diop still absent, adding reinforcements to the forward line is seen as a priority in the final hours of the window. Foot Mercato understands that talks between Burnley and Nice for the transfer of Mike Trésor (25) are advancing positively. The publication understands that only the final details need to be sorted in order for Trésor to join Les Aiglons.
