Burnley overcame Nottingham Forest in the FA Women’s National League’s Northern Premier Division, Hashtag took over at the top of the Southern Premier.

NORTHERN PREMIER DIVISION

AFC Fylde 0-2 Stourbridge (Att: 110) Burnley 4-2 Nottingham Forest Derby County 0-1 Newcastle United (Att: 649) Halifax 2-1 Liverpool Feds (Att: 80) Stoke City 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers West Bromwich Albion 4-1 Huddersfield Town

Burnley came from behind to record a big 4-2 win over Nottingham Forest, aided by a Millie Ravening double, to go four points clear at the top. Newcastle United made it three straight wins Bridget Galloway got the only goal at Derby, whose Anna Draper saved a late penalty. Heidi Logan scored one and set up the other for Saffron Jordan, as Stoke stung Wolves. Kelsey Richardson and Niamh Deasy scored as Stourbridge claimed their first win at this level, away at Fylde. West Brom beat Huddersfield at the Hawthorns, Halifax edged Liverpool Feds with a last-minute goal.

Hashtag United knocked Rugby Borough off the top, as they made it five straight wins, five-goal Ipswich Town climbed to second.

Plymouth had Lucy Hack sent off midway through the first half, as they went down 5-0 at Oxford United. Cheltenham trailed 3-1 to MK Dons into the last ten minutes but a dramatic fightback saw them emerge 4-3 victors. Billericay rescued a point in the 85th-minute as they shared six goals with Cardiff City LFC, while Portsmouth ran in eight goals at Chatham

Kayleigh Hines grabbed the decider for Loughborough Lightning against Sporting Khalsa, keeping them top of the standings. Peterborough United moved up to second with a 3-1 success at Leek Town.

DIVISION 1 NORTH

Barnsley, Hull City and Leeds United are still only separated by goal-difference in the top three, each gaining a narrow home win. Chaneece Reeves completed her hat-trick as FC United overturned Chester le Street’s 4-3 half-time lead to win 5-4. Middlesbrough were held to a goalless draw by Stockport in front of over 2,000 fans at the Riverside Stadium.

Ashford Town still lead the division after Anya Kinnane’s winner, the Middlesex side sitting two points ahead of Norwich City for whom Rachel Lawrence hit a hat-trick. Worthing and Cambridge United climbing to third and fourth position respectively.

DIVISION 1 SOUTH WEST

Leaders AFC Bournemouth made it four straight wins, Moneyfields have now won three in a row, Keynsham sit between them. Newcomers Abingdon United are up to nine points from four matches., Swindon hit six at the County Ground, while Selsey’s game was postponed as there was no facility to repaint what the match officials had deemed to be insufficient pitch markings.
