Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric could reportedly look to join another club in the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old joined the Clarets from Manchester City for an undisclosed fee in 2022.

He played a key role in helping the Lancashire outfit secure Premier League promotion last season.

The Kosovo international started 41 Championship matches, with 19 clean sheets to his name.

However, he has now lost his place to James Trafford, who Burnley signed this summer for £19 million.

Muric is yet to feature in the Premier League and has only made two starts in the League Cup.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the 24-year-old is focused on the Clarets but he wants to play regularly.

The goalkeeper could look to join another club on loan with an option to buy included in January.

Several clubs are interested in the player, including Union Berlin and Sevilla.

Muric’s current contract at Turf Moor will expire in 2026, having penned a four-year contract at the time of his joining.

The goalkeeper is an academy product of City and earned five senior appearances for the English champions.

He spent most of his time on loan to other clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Girona and Adana Demirspor.

The Kosovo international is currently struggling for game time at Burnley, and moving to Union Berlin or Sevilla would allow him to reignite his career.
