Burnley have reached an agreement with French outfit Lens to offload Anass Zaroury on a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old Morocco international joined the Clarets back in 2022 from Belgian outfit Charleroi and impressed in his first season.
Burnley played in the Premier League last season which saw Zaroury’s game time getting massively limited and he was sent to Hull City on loan in the second half of the term.
New Clarets boss Scott Parker has been looking to move players on from his bloated squad and Zaroury is set to be their next departure.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Burnley have agreed to sell the 23-year-old attacker for €9m package to Ligue 1 outfit RC Lens.
It has been suggested that the Clarets have added a 20 per cent clause on future sale for Zaroury.
He has already reached France to undergo his medical and is set to sign a contract until 2028 with the French outfit.
Zaroury is leaving the Clarets having made 49 appearances for the Turf Moor outfit.
