Burnley and Ipswich are both vying for the midfielder's services

Napoli midfielder Jens Cajuste is the subject of transfer interest from Burnley and Ipswich Town.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with the Tractor Boys and would’ve joined the Suffolk side if they had retained their Premier League status due to an obligation in his deal.
Cajuste was close to joining Turkish club Beşiktaş this summer, but that move stalled when Ipswich registered their interest in capturing the Swede permanently.
Sacha Tavolieri reported that Burnley are now also keen on signing the midfielder, with Scott Parker a big fan of his profile.
This naturally lessens Kieran McKenna and Co.’s chances of re-signing Cajuste, which frustrates Football League World’s Ipswich Town fan pundit, Adam Wilkin, to no end.
“I don't really know what's going on with Jens Cajuste,” stated Adam. “He was rumoured to be going to Turkey and that was pretty much a done deal before all of a sudden it wasn't.
“Then it was suggested that he was holding out for a move to Ipswich and now Burnley have joined the race.
“The only reason I can think of that we haven’t got it done by now is if he's not our top target, we might have an offer in, have agreed terms and have him as maybe our second or third choice. But we are probably still after other targets, which I think makes sense.
“I wouldn't begrudge him if he opts for a Premier League move. I think he's actually physically a better fit for the Premier League, if that makes sense. Burnley are quickly becoming one of my least favourite teams in the Premier League with the number of players that they're signing and stealing from us.
“I think them being in the Premier League does have a pull, but I think working under Kieran McKenna and having been at a club where he was clearly loved and enjoyed playing at kind of balances that out.
“So, I'd say we're on pretty even footing there. It depends on which club wants him more and who's got more of an appetite to get the deal over the line at the moment.”
Ipswich Town looked to be on the cusp of pulling off an impressive coup after seemingly taking Cajuste away from Beşiktaş.
That deal now looks less likely to happen, with the move somewhat stalling, and now Burnley have registered their interest in the midfielder.
Cajuste proved that he was capable of operating out of the Premier League last term, and if he is presented with that opportunity once more, it may be hard for the Tractor Boys to convince him otherwise.
At 25 years of age, the Swede’s best years are still ahead of him, and he will want to spend them at the highest level possible.
Therefore, if the Clarets put forward a sensible proposal, there might be nothing Ipswich can do to beat Parker and Co. to Cajuste’s signature.
