Burnley defender Matt Lowton is adamant they'll soon break their winning duck in the Premier League.

The Clarets slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Jose Mourinho's Tottenham on Monday night.

“I thought we deserved more," said the right back, who had been sidelined since June.

“We played well and stopped them creating chances, which they've been doing at will recently.

“We're disappointed to come away with nothing, which is a good sign.

“I thought it was a good collective performance and we look back to us. If we play like that we'll pick up points, definitely."

Burnley's next opportunity comes on Saturday, when Chelsea are the latest visitors from the capital.
