Burnley close to signing Man City defensive duo Harwood-Bellis & Egan-Riley

Burnley are closing in on the signings of three defenders.

The Clarets are set to add Manchester City duo CJ Egan-Riley and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, after the capture of Luke McNally.

With McNally having signed a four-year deal, per Lancs Live, City pair Egan-Riley and Harwood-Bellis are next in line.

The two centre-halves are set to add much needed depth to an area of the squad where Burnley are weak.

Vincent Kompany's side had to invest in their defence after the departures of Ben Mee and James Tarkowski.

Kevin Long and Nathan Collins are the other established center-backs in the squad.
