Having enjoyed a career-best season this past year with nine goals for Montpellier, French winger Arnaud Nordin could be set to leave La Paillade this summer, with clubs from both Ligue 1 and beyond keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old.
According to L’Équipe this afternoon, Nice, Fiorentina, Burnley, and an unnamed fourth club are interested in signing the former French youth international.
All four of the clubs mentioned have already begun making moves to sign the forward, who is under contract with Montpellier until 2025.
Nordin appeared in all but two of his team’s Ligue 1 games this season, scoring nine and assisting five as the return of Michel Der Zakarian in the dugout saw the southerners steer clear of a potential relegation battle, finishing in a comfortable 12th place. The attacker arrived last summer from formative club Saint-Étienne – where he found the net 18 times in 148 matches – following Les Verts‘ relegation from the top flight.
