And Burn hopes the team can improve next season and push up the table.

Burn said, per The Argus: "There are definitely exciting times ahead.

"We've had a big turnover of players. The lads who have played a lot of games this season are ones that have come from other countries and cultures and need that time to settle in.

"The more time we spend together and get to know each other, the better we can buy into the gaffer's vision and philosophy.

"We can only look back at this campaign positively.

"The club has the vision of being in the top ten and I can see that happening. We are building towards that.

"Our motivation between now and the end of this season is to beat the points tally.

"We've got three games to get four points.

"We're not disappointed but we're looking at the points tally we've got and believe we should have more and be higher up the table. It shows the fine margins in this league.

"The pressure is off now, so we want to pick up the points we want to progress."
