The five teams in the Bundesliga have found out the sides they will face in the new 2024/25 Champions League league phase.
The new format sees each team play a total of eight games with two games against two teams from each pot, one home and one away. Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund were in Pot 1, while Bayer Leverkusen last season’s Europa League runners-up were in Pot 2. Making their return to the Champions League for the first time in 10 years, VfB Stuttgart were in Pot 4.
This year’s final is in Munich on Saturday 31st of May, meaning a big incentive for Bayern to not only make it to the final but to right their wrongs from the 2012 edition.
