The end of last season had seen Kai Havertz voted the league’s best outfield player, while Marco Reus was selected this time last year.
But with 19 goals from 17 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, Lewandowski was always going to take home the accolade this time around.
Meanwhile, Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Yann Sommer was selected as the league’s best goalkeeper with 38.9% of the vote.
