Manu’s Game of the Week: Bochum vs Borussia Dortmund

My game of the week is the Ruhrderby between Bochum and Borussia Dortmund. The storylines pretty much write themselves here. Not only is this a derby but it is also a team fighting relegation hosting a club battling for the title. Having said all that, I do sense that BVB will win this one quite comfortably. Dortmund will feel great for finally having leapfrogged Bayern by beating Frankfurt comfortably last week. Then there is the new contract for Marco Reus, that will further settle down the club.

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Schalke vs Werder Bremen

My game of the week has to be Schalke vs Werder Bremen. Time is running out for Thomas Reis and his side to pick up the necessary points to drag themselves out of the relegation spots, but to do so will mean overcoming an in-form Bremen side that have looked particularly strong on the road this season. It’s a must-win game for the Royal Blues and that often makes for a great spectacle.
