A variety of protests have taken place across the Bundesliga for Saturday afternoon’s fixtures.
Fans from all clubs have made their displeasure with potential investment into the league clear.
In Köln, both the home support and the Borussia Dortmund visiting section made their feelings clear, with chocolate coins thrown onto the field to signal their unhappiness.
That was also the chosen method of protest for Bochum-Stuttgart and Freiburg’s fans for their fixture with Hoffenheim, while there were also demonstrations in Heidenheim.
The DFL had proposed to sell an 8% stake in TV and marketing rights across a two-decade agreement worth up to €1 billion.
