The Bundesliga has today announced the dates of all fixtures either side of the winter break and there are some mouth-watering matches to look forward to.
The beginning of the end of the Hinrunde sees Schalke travel to face Borussia Mönchengladbach on 9 December before champions Bayern Munich host struggling Cologne the following week.

On the same day – 16 December – Dortmund host Hoffenheim in what promises to be an absorbing encounter at the Westfalenstadion.
The third round of the DFB Pokal will take place on 19 and 20 December with the Christmas Cracker between Bayern and Dortmund scheduled to take place at the Allianz Arena on the 19th.
And Bayern will kick off the RĂĽckrunde with an enticing trip to face Bayer Leverkusen on 12 January 2018.
