As reported by BBC Sport, a number of Bundesliga clubs are keeping tabs on Kai Havertz’s situation at Arsenal.
It is understood that the Gunners are keen to add attacking reinforcements this summer, with their most prominent target being Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres.
Nevertheless, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško, as well as Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, are also potential options for Mikel Arteta’s side, with Šeško being a long-term target for the Premier League outfit.
Therefore, the introduction of a new number nine at Arsenal could see Havertz’s role at the Emirates significantly alter over the course of the upcoming campaign.
The 26-year-old’s contract is set to expire in 2027, meaning that while a move for the German international is not expected to be made this summer, a return to the Bundesliga could be arranged in twelve months for a cut-price fee.
However, it remains unclear which Bundesliga sides are looking to lure Havertz away from the Premier League.
