RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku has been rewarded for his phenomenal form by being awarded the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season.

It has been a breakout campaign for the Frenchman, whose form also saw him rewarded with his first international cap in March.

Nkunku finished the season with 34 goals and 14 assists across all competitions, with 20 of those goals and 13 assists coming on Bundesliga duty.

His form helped inspire Leipzig to another top four finish, while they also reached the final of the DFB Pokal and semi-final of the Europa League.
