Bundesliga 2023/24 outline schedule confirmed | OneFootball

The German Football Association (DFB) executive committee revealed the outline schedule for the 2023/24 Bundesliga season on Friday. The next Bundesliga campaign begins with the opening match on 18 August 2023, and ends with the final matchday on Saturday 18 May 2024.

Only one midweek round

The Bundesliga winter break starts after Matchday 16 (19/20 December 2023), which is also the only midweek matchday of the season. The action will recommence in Germany's top flight on 12 January 2024.

Bayern won the 2022 DFL-Supercup against Leipzig - Julian Nagelsmann’s side still need to qualify for the next edition on 12 August 2023.

A week before the league season starts, the Supercup between the Bundesliga champions and DFB Cup winners takes place on Saturday 12 August 2023. The DFB Cup begins on the same weekend (11-14 August) with the first round. The cup ties involving the Supercup participants have therefore been arranged for 26 and 27 September. The DFB Cup final is set to be played one week after the conclusion of the Bundesliga season, on Saturday 25 May 2024 at Berlin's Olympiastadion.
