The former United star asked whether Bryan Mbeumo would be the right signing for Eddie Howe.

Chris Waddle saying that the Cameroon international has proved himself in the Premier League in recent seasons.

However, Waddle thinks that Bryan Mbeumo could ‘find himself stuck on the subs bench’ if he was brought in primarily as back up to Alexander Isak.

Manchester United and Brentford are reported to be wide apart on their valuations of the player, so it remains to be seen if they can get a deal done.

Safe to say that if Bryan Mbeumo did end up at Newcastle United, Eddie Howe wouldn’t be seeing him as a regular on the bench. Mbeumo for sure would be seen as a new first choice selection on the right side.

Chris Waddle talking to online-casinos about Newcastle United and Bryan Mbeumo:

‘Is Bryan Mbeumo the man they should sign to offer back-up to Alexander Isak and strengthen the right wing?’

“He’s proved himself at Brentford for a good few seasons now.

“He’s proved that he can play in the Premier League.

“However, Brentford play a certain way. They don’t play like Newcastle.

“Newcastle play on the front foot really. Attacking teams and pressing teams. Brentford are a counter-attacking team, which has suited him.

“You can’t deny what he’s done though.
