Tottenham Hotspur have allowed Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon to miss their pre-season tour of Asia as they look for new clubs.

Spurs flew to Asia today for their pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, which includes fixtures against Vissel Kobe, K League All-Stars and Bayern Munich.

However, there were some notable absentees from the list of travelling players. Some players will be away due to international duties, injuries and transfers.

Gil and Reguilon stayed in London to explore a transfer away from the club as they are surplus to requirements.

Right-back Emerson Royal was included in the squad for the trip even though he is expected to leave this summer. He has been linked with AC Milan.

Spurs have rejected one bid from the Rossoneri, but the Serie A giants will likely make another offer.

Tottenham need to raise cash to fund their Eberechi Eze move

Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze is reportedly one of Spurs’ top targets this summer, but he is valued at £68 million.

Tottenham will have to raise funds for the Eze move by selling fringe players, including Gil and Reguilon.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is set to move to Marseille on a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option.

Richarlison is attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Tottenham must secure funds from player sales to swoop for their targets.
