Bruno gets good injury news for first game as interim manager | OneFootball

Bruno Salter has been thrown in at the deep end at Chelsea, asked to manage a game against Liverpool tomorrow night as interim coach with less than 48 hours to prepare.

There is some good news for the stand in, however. Jurgen Klopp had his press conference today and spoke about some of his side’s injury issues.

Both Thiago Alcantara and Luis Diaz are close to a return, but neither will be able to feature against us. That is a huge chunk of Klopp’s creative core missing.

Darwin Nunez was able to play in the second half against Man City at the weekend however, and it looks like he will be fit to face us.

On our end, N’Golo Kante is likely only fit enough to play from the bench too. It will be interesting to see what team Bruno picks and how it differs from the strange setup that Potter used in his last game.
