Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes stole the show vs West Brom once again in the latest of his fine performances for the club.

The Portuguese magician helped win all three points vs the relegation candidates who have been poor all season long.

United were not particularly impressive in a match many anticipated they would win with ease and by a big scoreline.

Instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men scraped past thanks to a penalty that Bruno converted, having initially had his first effort illegally saved.

It doesn’t look too good for the Red Devils at the moment but a win is a win and the legendary Norwegian needed to find a way to put three points on the board.

Bruno was also instrumental in the win over Everton just before the international break and while it’s good to see him being so talismanic for the club, it is crossing into overreliance territory.

If the former Sporting Lisbon man ever falls to a long-term injury then it’s likely Manchester United’s form would suffer too.

In fact, many claim Solskjaer’s job has been saved only by Bruno and had it not been for the player, he would’ve long faced the sack.

So long as United fail to impress, the pressure will always be on the former striker, particularly with Mauricio Pochettino lurking.
