Manchester United pair Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelof have teamed up with UNICEF to raise money for victims of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

UNICEF’s Ukraine Appeal is a movement to help as many children and victims of the terrible scenes in Ukraine as possible, with players making sizeable donations to the cause.

In videos published on both players’ social media channels, they revealed that after talks with their families, they would be taking the extra step to raise funds for the movement.

“Me and Victor Lindelof spoke a lot together and with our wives about wanting to help children and families affected by the crisis in Ukraine so we have come together to raise money for UNICEF’s Ukraine Appeal,” Fernandes wrote on his Instagram.

“Win some amazing items through lots of prize draws! £5 per ticket and we will also make significant personal donations at the end of the prize draw too. Please help if you can.”

Tickets for the raffle are priced at £5 and prizes include a personal tour of the training ground by Fernandes and Lindelof, signed shirts from Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford. You can also win match-day experiences at Old Trafford as well as trips to watch Sweden or Portugal play.

All of the proceeds from the initiative will go to UNICEF’s Ukraine Appeal.
