It was freezing cold at Paradise and anyone expecting a run-of-the-mill victory was in for a surprise. It was far from easy but it was one of those crucial moments in the season…

Scott Brown’s last-minute winner was met with wild celebrations for those that stayed in the stadium. With theRangers dropping points at Pittodrie, a win against relegation-threatened Accies looked like a formality.
However, when Mario’s Ogkmpoe equalised for Brian Rice’s side in stoppage time, Paradise was deflated. It seemed like two points dropped, and more crucially, a massive chance missed to go clear at the top of the table. But, Broony had other ideas and gave Celtic a huge subconscious lift ahead of the Scottish League Cup final four days later against Steven Gerrard’s side.
Celtic’s midweek victory versus Hamilton had been significant — it was the Hoops’ 11th consecutive league victory and there was a resilience amongst the Celtic squad which had been evident following successful results in the Europa League.
However, fans were still on edge about Sunday’s final as there had been no mention of Celtic’s main man Odsonne Edouard on whether he would make the game or not. Indeed, he did, and the Frenchman changed the match at Hampden Park helping Neil Lennon’s team secure a 10th straight domestic trophy.
