British Report Claims Manchester United Won’t Let Alexis Sanchez Extend Inter Stay | OneFootball

Manchester United will not allow Alexis Sanchez to extend his loan or join Inter on a permanent basis according to a report from British newspaper Daily Star.

The Chilean international was forced by the Premier League club over the Summer who were desperate to offload him after he largely flopped since his arrival from fellow Premier League side Arsenal.

The bosses at the Red Devils have however had a change of heart and would like to give the former Barcelona player another chance to prove himself.

Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward has already told Sanchez and his representatives of the club’s intentions for him and that he will not be able to prolong his stay at Inter past the end of this season.

The report does however go on to state that Sanchez does not wish to return to Old Trafford and wishes to remain in Serie A.

Since joining Inter, Sanchez has made seven appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored one goal and provided a single assist.
