Wales international full-back Ffion Morgan has signed for Bristol City Women after leaving Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old returns to the Robins having previously spent three years in Bristol Academy’s youth teams, after which she played for Cardiff City Ladies and Coventry United.

Morgan told bcfc.co.uk: “I’m grateful and excited by the opportunity to join Bristol City and link up with Lauren (Smith) again after working closely with her at international level.

“This is my first deal with a full-time club, which is a big step for me and will allow me to fully focus on my football and become the best player possible on the pitch.

“From experience I know the Championship is a very competitive league with a lot of strong teams, and I’m determined to contribute to success on the pitch and help the club achieve their ambitions.”
