The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at The Robins’ High Performance Centre with Bentley putting in some impressive performances for Lauren Smith’s side.
Bentley made 19 appearances for Bristol City in last season’s Barclays Women’s Championship, keeping seven clean sheets in the process. The keeper’s return to the club comes as no surprise following recent speculation.
After completing her permanent move to Bristol City, Bentley said “It feels amazing to be back, I had a great season here last season. I think I developed well as a player and I also love it here so I’m excited. It’s definitely a big thing moving teams but, having been here last season, I know what it’s like and it definitely helped my decision.
“I spoke to Lauren (Smith) and I know the ambitions of this club and believe that we can get there. Personally, I want to better the clean sheets I got last season which would definitely help. It’s a big ambition for me.”
It has been reported that Bentley has signed a two-year deal with Bristol City while she has claimed the number one jersey for the upcoming campaign.
