Hibs announced the signing of the 20-year-old via a post on their official club website this morning.
Kuyken moves to the Leith-based club after spending one season with Bristol City. She joined The Robins last summer following the club’s relegation to the second tier. Kuyken made 18 appearances for Lauren Smith’s side with 15 of those outings coming in the FA Women’s Championship.
After completing her move to Hibs, Kuyken said “I’m really excited to get going with Hibs ahead of the new season.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to play for a top team in the Scottish League and gain valuable experience at the senior level.”
Kuyken leaves her former club after helping them turn their fortunes around. After suffering relegation in 2020/2021, Bristol City picked themselves up and under the guidance of new head coach Smith, along with a talented new pool of players, The Robins managed to finish in third place in the FA Women’s Championship this season.
Bristol City will be targeting a more serious promotion push next season but they will need to find a replacement for outgoing midfielder Kuyken in the summer months.
