Bristol City have agreed to a €3 million transfer fee (including bonuses) with Rapid Vienna for Fally Mayulu (21), according to a report by L’Équipe. The Frenchman will undergo a medical on Friday before completing his move to the Championship side.
The striker developed in RC Lens’ academy for three years before he made the move to VfL Wolfsburg where he made only one appearance for the German club’s second team. A move to Austria kickstarted Mayulu’s career with a stint with BW Linz preceding his move to Vienna in 2023.
A new journey awaits the young striker with the Bristol club picking the forward up after a season where he made 35 appearances across all competitions scoring 11 times and assisting three.
Mayulu is also the older brother of Paris Saint-Germain’s Senny Mayulu (18) who signed his first professional contract with the French champions in late May after he turned down offers from across Europe, most notably Borussia Dortmund.
