Brighton Women sign Brianna Visalli

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed midfielder Brianna Visalli from Houston Dash on a contract until the summer of 2024.

Visalli, 27, has joined Albion after two seasons at the Dash in the NWSL. During her time in the USA, the midfielder won the League’s Challenge Cup in 2020 and Dash were runners-up of the Fall Series in the same season.

She is returning to the WSL having already played for West Ham in 2019/20, before joining Birmingham City for a season.

Albion head coach, Jens Scheuer, said: “She’s a midfielder with a real turn of pace. She’s a very intelligent player and she gives us a lot of options in the midfield.

“It’s a good move for the club and her. She’s got good experience both in the WSL and in America.”
