Brighton & Hove Albion are monitoring the situation of teenage striker Evan Ferguson ahead of their match with Manchester United tomorrow.

The 18-year-old has been out with an injury since mid-April and faces a race against time to be fit for tomorrow’s Premier League clash.

Ferguson had limped off in Brighton’s win over Chelsea on April 15. He has missed games against Nottingham Forest, Man Utd (FA Cup), and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, there is a possibility he will feature against the Red Devils.

Brighton will be without Joel Veltman. He came off during the 6-0 win over Wolves on Saturday.

Also, manager Roberto De Zerbi may not be on the touchline for tomorrow’s game. He missed the press conference today through illness.

The 43-year-old wants to be with his team, but they are unsure if he will recover in time.

Furthermore, Brighton are without midfielders Adam Lallana (hamstring) and Jakub Moder (ACL). Jeremy Sarmiento (metatarsal) and right-back Tariq Lamptey (knee) will miss the game too.

The Seagulls go into the game tomorrow seeking revenge against a Man Utd side that knocked them out of the FA Cup in the semi-final.

Brighton will be aiming to cause an upset against the third-placed side. It will help Brighton’s push for European football.

Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag knows tomorrow’s game will be a fight. The former Ajax coach urged his players to focus and be motivated for the game at the Amex Stadium.

Ten Hag warned his players about the revenge ploy.

He announced that they would be without exciting youngster Alejandro Garnacho.

Also, defensive duo Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are still out with injuries.

The Seagulls will approach the game tomorrow with no fear. They beat United in the reverse fixture.

And then United needed penalties to get past them in the FA Cup. Tomorrow’s game makes for a can’t-miss encounter.
