Arsenal have seen a second bid turned down for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The Gunners are determined to bring in a midfielder before the transfer deadline on Tuesday and have focused their attentions on the Ecuador international.
However, the Seagulls have held firm until this point and rejected an offer from the Premier League leaders on Sunday night, believed to be worth around £70m.
The report states that Brighton’s stance remains clear that the 21-year-old is not for sale but conversations remain on-going between the two clubs.
Caicedo is currently under contract until 2025 at the AMEX stadium although an option remains for Brighton to extend it for another year.
