Brighton condemned Arsenal to back-to-back hefty defeats with a 4-2 dismantling.
Scorers: Kirkby 16', Čanković 43', 52', Seike 54'; Foord 29', Caldentey 90+3'
Fran Kirby broke the deadlock with a sublime curling effort from just inside the penalty area for the hosts' first-ever WSL home goal against the Gunners.
Renée Slegers' side drew level shortly before the half-hour mark when Caitlin Foord slammed home a rebound after Sophie Baggaley denied her initially at the far post.
But the Seagulls restored their lead through another impressive strike, this time from Jelena Čanković meeting a headed clearance on the volley in the box.
Čanković doubled her tally early in the second half by seizing on a poor clearance to beat a hesitant Manuela Zinsberger at her near post with a clinical strike.
Less than two minutes later, they piled on the misery with Kiko Seike capitalising on a poor back pass to race clear and produce a cool finish.
Mariona Caldentey reduced their deficit in added time with a curling effort to beat Baggaley and offer hopes of a potential late fightback from the visitors.
Dario Vidošić's side leapfrog Liverpool into fifth while Arsenal remain a distant second after an aggregate loss of 9-4 in their previous two WSL outings.
