Brighton & Hove Albion are close to completing the signing of Olympiacos teenager Charalampos Kostoulas.

According to BBC Sport, the Seagulls are set to pay €35 million (just under £30m) for the 18-year-old with the player scheduled for a medical today with the potential of that transfer fee increasing further €2 million in add-ons.

That fee makes it the highest ever sale from a Greek league side and the second biggest transfer fee for a Greek player.

Kostoulas is a Greek youth international having made his U21 debut for his country earlier this season.

The forward, who is the son of former Olympiacos defender Athanasios Kostoulas, broke into the Olympiacos team this season, featuring 35 times for the club and scoring seven times.
