Brazil had been with Brighton & Hove Albion for four years while Koivisto joined the Sussex club in the January 2021 transfer window.
Attacker Brazil made 19 league appearances for Hope Powell’s side last season. The player was a trusted member of the Brighton & Hove Albion side and she could now move to another Barclays Women’s Super League club.
Koivisto was an ever-present for Brighton & Hove Albion in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League. She contributed three goals in 22 league outings. Koivisto has arguably been one of manager Powell’s top signings with the player offering versatility both in defensive and midfield areas. The Finnish international should have lots of clubs interested in acquiring her services.
Eight players have now left Brighton & Hove Albion this summer. Dutch pair Inessa Kaagman and Danique Kerkdijk opted to move on while Aileen Whelan, Fliss Gibbons, Dani Bowman and Emily Simpkins were all released by The Seagulls. With squad numbers now being at a very minimal level, Brighton & Hove Albion boss Powell will be looking to push some deals over the line and add some fresh faces to her group.
