One of Chelsea’s players has been given a glowing media review after playing his latest international game for his country this weekend.

As we continue through yet another international break, there aren’t quite as many Chelsea players in action as there normally would be.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

Both Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill pulled from international duty with England last week due to getting knocks. Malo Gusto had the same fate with the France U21 squad. And Romeo Lavia also returned early from Belgium camp due to injury as well. We hope that they will all be OK to play for Chelsea at the weekend when domestic football returns.

However, there was still some Chelsea players in action this weekend, and it’s been a good outing for Blues attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku, who is out on international duty with France.

Nkunku in action for France last night

Nkunku played very well and helped France beat a strong Italy side 3-1. The Chelsea man didn’t get on the scoresheet, but it was noted by GIVEMESPORT that he was the brightest threat for France in an attacking sense.

They scored him an 8/10 rating for the performance, and said this:

‘Picked up some lovely pockets of space in between the Italian banks and was one of France’s brightest threats from an attacking perspective. Enzo Maresca, are you watching?!’

Indeed, and I am sure that Maresca was absolutely watching, as he would have been for all his Blues players playing over the weekend.

Nkunku is not really getting much of a look in at the moment, at least in league games for Maresca’s best Xl. He has had to make do with being part of the B-Team, starting games in cup competitions only right now.

That has created plenty of rumours about him becoming unsettled with other clubs starting to show interest in signing him.
