Having returned from an injury that had sidelined him since the end of last season, Pierre Lees-Melou is set to make his first-ever start in the UEFA Champions League proper.

Brest’s injury list is easing slightly. They remain without Bradley Locko, likely for the entire season after he suffered an ACL injury in pre-season, whilst Julien Le Cardinal is also out with a more minor blow. But with Lees-Melou notably returning and with an almost full squad to pick from, Eric Roy has plenty of decisions to make.

The likes of Romain Faivre, Kamory Doumbia, Mathias Pereira Lage and Mama Baldé will all likely have to settle for a place on the bench for Brest with Ludovic Ajorque set to lead the line, with the in-form Abdallah Sima to his left and Romain Del Castillo to his right.
