After having played Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, and ahead of the second leg of their play-off on Wednesday, Stade Brestois are expected to play a weaker side as they prepare to face AJ Auxerre in Ligue 1 on Saturday night.
The likes of Ludovic Ajorque, Abdallah Sima, Pierre Lees-Melou, Mahdi Camara, Brendan Chardonnet and Kenny Lala are all expected to be rested for Brest. It will therefore be something of a second-string XI against an Auxerre side looking for their first league win since February.
In terms of absences, Jordan Amavi and Bradley Locko both remain out, limiting Eric Roy’s options at left-back, whilst Jonas Martin and Romain Del Castillo also miss out on this encounter. Hugo Magnetti is expected to captain Brest, whilst Mama Baldé will lead the line.
Marco Bizot; Massadio Haïdara, Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Julien Le Cardinal, Luc Zogbé; Hugo Magnetti, Edimilson Fernandes; Ibrahim Salah, Kamory Doumbiá, Mathias Pereira Lage; Mama Baldé. (L’Éq)
