Brentford are showing strong interest in signing Bournemouth winger Dango Ouattara, according to reports from Sky Sports..
Ouattara has told Bournemouth he is open to exploring a move this summer.
Brentford are searching for a new wide player following the departure of Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United in a deal worth £71 million.
They have also been linked with Omari Hutchinson, although no agreement has yet been reached with Ipswich Town.
Ouattara signed for Bournemouth from French side FC Lorient for a reported £20 million in 2023.
He remains under contract until 2028, leaving the club in a strong negotiating position.
Bournemouth have received multiple enquiries from Premier League and European clubs for the Burkina Faso international.
They are unwilling to sell unless their valuation is met, although they may consider a deal given the player’s desire to leave.
His mix of speed, direct dribbling and energy has made him a key figure in Andoni Iraola’s squad.
Ouattara is comfortable operating on either wing or as a central forward. He is known for cutting inside to shoot with his stronger left foot.
The winger thrives in high-intensity pressing systems and excels during quick transitions. His ability to attack space and unsettle defences makes him a constant threat on the counter-attack.
While his shooting is still developing, his pace and work rate ensure he remains a danger throughout matches.
His unpredictable style of play often forces defenders into mistakes, creating openings for his teammates.
Signing Ouattara would add much-needed width and versatility to Brentford’s attacking options.
