Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard says manager Thomas Frank deserves his Premier League chance.

The Bees will be in the Premier League next season for the first time in their history.

Nørgaard told Bold: "The relationship with Thomas Frank makes it extra special. Thomas deserves it if anyone, and he has been through a motley coaching career, where he has delivered really nice things with several teams, but has not had the really big achievement that he has now got.

"He also had a difficult farewell in Brøndby, so I really think that if anyone deserves this, it is Thomas. Therefore, it was special to be able to give him a hug and talk about it after, when it is a coach you have had for so many years and who has been a big part of your development."
