Brentford failed with a deadline-day swoop for Standard Liege right-back Hugo Siquet.
The Belgium Under-19 international has been a revelation since making his senior club debut last November.

Bees officials held talks with their Liege counterparts for the 19-year-old, but were unable to reach agreement, says The Sun.
Siquet joined the Belgian outfit aged seven, and has won 13 national caps from Under-17 level upwards.
