Brentford interested in Manchester City’s Issa Kaboré

Benjamin Quarez of Le Parisien reports this afternoon that right-back Issa Kaboré is set to leave Troyes this summer, despite his loan deal from Manchester City having been renewed for another year.

The Burkina Faso international, who was named young player of the tournament at the last Africa Cup of Nations, has seen Premier League side Brentford show an interest.

Kaboré had been on loan with the Ligue 1 club this season and made 31 appearances as the team, which saw Bruno Irles take charge midway through the season, managed to stave off relegation.

Formerly of Mechelen, Kaboré is one of a host of Manchester City players to have joined Troyes, as the French club benefit from their membership of the City Group. The Premier League champions are now going to call him back up from his loan, with a permanent sale now expected.
