Ivan Toney's Brentford legacy is officially on borrowed time.
The England international made the move to Saudi Arabia last summer after setting a club record for the most goals in the Premier League era.
But the clock is now ticking on Toney's haul of 36 after Bryan Mbeumo netted twice in the Bees' encounter with a struggling Southampton on Saturday.
A second-half penalty saw the Cameroonian draw level with Yoane Wissa on 35 top-flight goals, meaning the pair are in a race to equal Toney's record-setting tally.
Wissa scored deep in added time of a 5-0 rout at St Mary's to become a new joint-top scorer for Thomas Frank's side in the Premier League era.
Will he soon be the undisputed leader or will Mbeumo get there first?
