Due to ongoing work building a TV studio next to the away end, Leeds were allowed to give Newcastle fans only 2,690 tickets for Saturday’s match, less than the minimum 3,000 Premier League rules guarantee (or 10% of capacity if less than 30,000 allowed in a stadium). This meant Newcastle fans needed 150 loyalty points in the first instance if they wanted to buy a ticket.

Now with Brentford, NUFC have set the initial total at 180 loyalty points for fans wanting to buy an away ticket for the match on Saturday 26 February.

The new stadium which opened during last season (with no fans allowed in, during Covid restrictions) holds only 17,250 and so, only 1,700 tickets allocated to Newcastle fans.

Saturday 22 January 3pm – Leeds away

Tuesday 8 February 7.45pm – Everton Home (BT Sport)

Sunday 13 February 2pm – Aston Villa Home (Sky Sports)

Saturday 19 February 12.30pm – West Ham Away (BT Sport)

Saturday 26 February 3pm – Brentford Away

In terms of tickets, Leeds is sold out and obviously Brentford will swiftly follow.

Looking at the official Newcastle United ticketing site, there are currently (10.45am Thursday morning) only 822 away tickets left for West Ham.

Whilst for the home matches, having had a quick look, around five thousand tickets still on sale for the midweek one with Everton, but less than two thousand still on sale for Villa the following Sunday.

Newcastle United official announcement – 20 January 2022:
