Brentford captain Jansson: Norgaard our MVP as player and person

Brentford captain Pontus Jansson has declared Christian Norgaard as their most important player.

Last season was the Dane's first in the Premier League.

Jansson told the club's website: "Christian Norgaard is our MVP. Both as a player and as a person. I always play with enthusiasm and emotion where he makes calmer decisions.

"When I doubt myself, I always go to Christian, because he makes me calm down. He helps me see things from a different perspective.

"Norgaard, Toney, Raya and I are the backbone of this team. With the players around me, I feel safe. They are fantastic football players, people and leaders."
